President Ruto Denies Coalition Agreement with Raila Odinga

President William Ruto confirmed at a Presidential Town Hall in Mombasa County that there is no coalition agreement with ODM leader Raila Odinga. Ruto clarified that while ODM members are working with his government, there is no formal coalition. This move aims to foster national unity and address Kenya's challenges.

President Ruto also addressed the recent cabinet reshuffle, stating it was necessary to dispel the notion that key government roles were reserved for his close associates. He emphasized that those reappointed must understand the terms of their service have changed.

Raila Odinga reiterated that neither the ODM Party nor the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party has entered into a coalition with President Ruto’s UDA party. The political landscape remains dynamic as the government seeks to work on shared issues while maintaining independence.
