Kipchumba Murkomen Makes a Comeback as President Expands Cabinet with 10 New Nominees

In a significant move to bolster his administration, the President has announced a second batch of cabinet nominees. This comes just a week after presenting an initial group of eleven candidates. The new nominations reflect a blend of seasoned politicians, experts, and new faces poised to drive various key ministries forward.

4. Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry: Hon. Salim Mvurya Mgala

5. Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife: Ms. Rebecca Miano

In his address, the President emphasized the strategic importance of these appointments. Hon. Roselinda Soipan Tuya, the nominee for the Ministry of Defence, expressed her gratitude and readiness to serve. "I am honored by this nomination and prepared to dedicate myself to the security and defense of our nation," she remarked.


Hon. Aden Barre Duale, set to lead the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forestry, highlighted the critical nature of his portfolio. "In addressing climate change and environmental conservation, we are safeguarding our future generations," he commented.
