Junior Harambee Starlets went roaring, defeating Ethiopia's UN 17 3-0

Junior Harambee starlets hosted Ethiopian side on Sunday 19th May 2024 at Ulinzi Sports Complex in Nairobi in the quench for a spot in the Women Un 17 world cup to be played in October,in Dominican Replublic. Ethiopia was humuliated by the Red Starlets who scored 3-0.
Starlets had the game under control in the first half, Elizabeth Ochaka giving them the first goal just a minute before stoppage time for half time. Ethiopia came back strong for eight minutes into second half with hopes of comeback before Velma Awuor received a nice pass, dribbled past a defender to create space and giving Kenya the second goal with a stunning short outside the box.
Lorna Faith closed the scoring with a wide range shot helping Starlets beat Ethiopia 3-0. Kenya will be meeting either Djibouti or Rwanda in the final game in their pool,Rwanda with the highest chance of meeting the Starlets after 18 defeat over Djibouti.
