Embakasi Police Officer Found Dead at Home After Two-Day Absence

A police officer stationed at Embakasi Police Station, Geoffrey Kinzi, was found dead at his home after failing to report to work for two consecutive days. According to a police report, officers were dispatched to locate Kinzi after his unusual absence raised concerns.

When the officers arrived at his house near Trace Hotel in Embakasi Village, they found the door locked from the inside. Peering through the window, they spotted Kinzi lying motionless on the bed. Alarmed, they forced entry by cutting the window grill and discovered the officer’s body in a supine position.

A preliminary examination showed no visible injuries, and the body was transferred to Montezzuma Monalissa Funeral Home for a post-mortem. Police have launched an investigation to determine whether the death was a suicide or foul play.
