“I was the most depressed before I met Kaka on the event that I was hosting, Ndio Akaniambia. We would like to take you up as Kaka Empire. Before that, I had given up… I was going through a lot mentally; at this point, I had contemplated even suicide because there was a lot going on in my life,” Azeezah shared.

Azeezah described how the team at Kaka Empire, including fellow artists and management, rallied around her, offering not only emotional support but also professional guidance that reignited her passion for music. According to the media personality, her depression stemmed from betrayals and disappointments in friendships, as she tends to love deeply once she gets close to someone.

“My expectation or rather what we have in the work is to take the dream that I have always had which is hosting the BET Red Carpet Awards because that is where the real journalism is and to host the MTV as well. That is why I believe Kaka Empire is the place to be,” Azeezah expressed.
